Pricing
What it costs
The site costs $3,000 for what I build. Pay it once, or $250 a month for a year. Same thing either way, and the computer it runs on is yours. You review the working site before any money moves.
The price
$3,000 once at launch or $250 a month for twelve months.
The site costs $3,000. Pay it once, or $250 a month for a year. Same thing either way, and the computer it runs on is yours. Nothing is due before launch, and the first year of hosting and changes is included in both options. Larger features, integrations, and out-of-scope work receive a separate quote.
-
I build your site first
A real working site on a real domain, before you pay anything. Not a stock template with your name dropped in the corner.
-
You tell me what to change
Wording, photos, layout, anything that is not right. I change it and show you again, before any money moves.
-
You pick how to pay
$3,000 once, or $250 a month for twelve months. Same total either way, and the first year of hosting and changes is included in both.
-
It is yours
The domain in your name, the site, and the computer it runs on, yours after your first payment.
After the first year
Once the $3,000 is paid, you choose. Keep me at $250 a month for hosting, care, and every change you want, and cancel any time, no fee. Or take it and go: it all runs on your computer, and you pay nothing more.
Stores and inventory, customer accounts, point-of-sale or accounting work, custom integrations, substantial new features, and work outside the written care scope are quoted separately.
Leaving is easy
- Pay monthly and stop early, and the balance of the $3,000 is owed. The site and the computer are already yours.
- Once the $3,000 is paid, keeping me is $250 a month, and cancelling costs nothing.
- The domain is registered to your business before launch and is transferable after cancellation, subject to registrar verification and unpaid third-party fees.
The two ways to pay, spelled out
Option A is $3,000 once, due at launch. Option B is $250 a month for twelve months, first payment at launch. Both add up to the same $3,000, and both include everything in the list below for the full first year. There is no setup fee, no hardware charge, and no other bill from Barnraised.
Paying monthly is buying the site, not renting it. On the monthly option the site and the computer are yours from your first payment; if you stop before the twelfth payment, the unpaid balance of the $3,000 is owed.
Why you see it before you pay for it
The Barnraised offer starts with a working site you can inspect on a real domain before accepting it. That removes the need to decide from a mockup or a verbal description alone.
Revisions happen before acceptance: you tell me what to change, I change it and show you again, before any money moves.
What the $3,000 includes, first year, either option
- The computer your site runs on, yours to keep. It is ordered when you sign and becomes your property with your first payment.
- Hosting, your choice, switchable: Barnraised hosts it, or it runs on your machine in your building.
- Your domain name, registered to your business before launch, with SSL.
- Security, backups, and monitoring, spelled out in your written scope with current evidence.
- Your lead inbox and admin panel. A filled-out contact form lands in your inbox and gets saved on your site, junk filtered out first.
- Every change you ask for, wording, photos, prices, pages, with no per-change fee, within the written care agreement.
- Directory work is offered only when its destination, ownership, placement, update, cancellation, and sponsorship terms are disclosed and approved in writing.
Directories, shown separately
I maintain public directories that visitors can inspect. They are examples of focused local publishing, not a ranking guarantee or an automatic part of a website package.
A customer listing is not part of the standard scope unless its exact destination, ownership, placement, update, cancellation, and sponsorship terms are separately approved in writing.
No directory fee, placement, update term, or search outcome is promised by the standard website offer.
You can inspect the directories and their current destinations on the directories page.
Changing your own site is not billed
You get a login for the supported content fields. Change wording, photos, prices, and hours without calling first. Structural work, integrations, substantial features, and work outside the written care scope are separate. The front page shows the synthetic site; manager access remains paused until its security and reset gates are proved.
What you own, and what leaving includes
The offer promises three ownership outcomes. The domain is registered to your business before launch and is transferable after cancellation, subject to registrar verification and unpaid third-party fees. The computer the site runs on becomes your property with your first payment, no matter what happens after. And once the $3,000 is paid you can take the site and go: it all runs on your computer, and you pay nothing more.
The standard public offer does not promise transfer of source code, the design system, or hosting accounts beyond the working site on your computer. It does not promise continued hosting, login or stored-lead access, an export, migration work, or post-cancellation archiving for anything left on Barnraised systems after you leave. Ownership or licensing of supplied copy and media, any available export, lead-data handling, migration help, and shutdown timing must be stated in the written proposal before you accept it. Do not assume a right that is not written there.
When it is a quote instead
Livingston Garden Center is that kind of live job: real pickup ordering against current stock. Tapestry Acres puts bookings and a store on the same site; it is a family venture rather than a client, and it runs at tapestryacres.com. And if you want the longer version of what things cost around here and why quotes for the same job vary so much, here is the full breakdown.
